This is my eighth year at Ponder Elementary teaching 2nd grade! I love being here in such a wonderful school district with a supportive staff and excellent students. It is a joy to me to watch students learn as they understand new concepts. I love coming to work everyday and learning with my students. There is always something exciting going on and I look forward to seeing what challenges and rewards will come to my students and myself each day!
I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2005 with my Bachelor of Science in Education with an ESL certification. I am also going back to school to get my masters degree in school counseling at TWU. I currently live in Denton with my husband Jack and our two dogs, Ranger and Rhumba. We are expecting our first baby in March-a girl! In my spare time I love spending time with my family and friends, reading, shopping and playing with my dogs. Having four other teachers in my family I get to share and receive many wonderful teaching ideas with them.
