![]() Kent Josselet Curriculum Director Ponder ISD 940-479-8271 Ponder ISD has one elementary campus that houses PK-5 with approximately 600 students. Our elementary campus offers an integrated curriculum of language arts, math, science, and social studies, complemented by music, computer, and physical education classes. Ponder Junior High houses grades 6-8 with approximately 300 students. The junior high campus teachers are grouped by grade level in the four core subject areas. Electives include athletics, vocational agricutlure, art, band, health, technology and theater. Ponder High School houses grades 9-12 with approximately 390 students. The high school campus offers advanced courses in the areas of Science and History. The English and Math courses do offer Pre AP and AP courses. Starting with the junior class students may take dual credit courses offered at Ponder High School through a partnership with North Central Texas College. The dual credit courses that are offered on campus are U.S. History 1301/1302, English 1301/1302, Government and Economics. Elective courses range from Business/Computer, Fine Arts (Choir, Band, Art, & Drama), Vocational Agriculture, and Athletics. |
