    College / Post Secondary Readiness Night

    October 23, 2017   6:30 - 8:00 pm -- PHS Cafeteria

    UNT, NCTC, and PHS Staff will be on-site to help you navigage:

    • Applying to college
    • Filling out Financial Aid and Scholarship Applications
    • Signing up for the SAT and/or the ACT

    What to Bring:

    • An appetite -- Pizza and water will be served
    • Your Chromebook and something to take notes with
    • Your tax return or the FAFSA Worksheet from your tax preparer
    • Your MyNCTC login and password (if applicable)
    • Your social security number
    • Your parents

  • Service Opportunities

    Service Opportunities for Students

    There are several opportunities for students to serve in our local community. These are perfect for Service Cord participants and will be great for college applications!

    *New Opportunity*  The Ponder Athletic Booster Club allows students who are needing service hours to sign up to work in the concession stands at various athletic events throughout the school year.  Students and parents can sign up to volunteer by visiting the Booster Club's website.  Click Here to Sign Up!


    Food Bank distribution on the second Saturday of each month from 7:00am - 10:30am at the First United Methodist Church in Ponder.  Volunteers are needed to help distribute food, set up and clean up.  Contact Mrs. Arterberry at joeyarterberry@gmail.com

    Wednesdays at the Elementary

    5th Grade TMSCA tutoring every Wednesday at the elementary from 3:30 - 5:30pm.  Contact Mrs. Arterberry at joeyarterberry@gmail.com

    Riding Unlimited

    Volunteers needed to assist clients with therapy and help with caring for the horses.  Contact Jennifer at 469-682-9723.
