• Fall Festival Fall Festival 2019

    The annual Fall Festival will be held Saturday, October 26. The night begins at 5:00 pm in the elementary school cafeteria with a BBQ meal. All festival booths will also open at 5:00 pm and run until 8:00 pm.The booths will be located between the elementary school and the parking lot on the west side of the football stadium. Raffle tickets will be sold from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm with winners posted by 7:30 pm. The evening concludes with a live auction in the elementary school cafeteria at 8:15 pm. Be sure to come out and have a night of family fun!

    There will be no school for students on Friday, October 18th. Staff, however, will report for professional development.

  • Registration Registration Forms Available

    Registration packets for the 2019-2020 school year are now available online. The forms can be completed online and printed at home to be returned to the school office or blank forms can be printed at home to be completed manually with pen and paper. Pre-printed paper copies will be available in the school office for families as well. Please note that there are two different forms. One form is for returning students who were enrolled at Ponder ISD last school year and a separate form for those who are new students to Ponder ISD.

    • Elementary Returning Students
      Returning student registration forms should be turned in on July 24-25, 2019 during registration times of 8:00 am - 2:00 pm or 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm at the elementary campus.


    • Junior High School and High School Returning Students
      Returning student registration forms can be completed and turned in beginning immediately. Student schedule pickup and technology protection plan payment will be on August 1, 2019.

    • Elementary New Students
      New student registration forms should be turned in on July 23, 2019 during the registration times of 8:00 am - 2:00 pm or 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm at the elementary campus.

    • Junior High School and High School New Students
      New student registration forms should be turned in on July 23, 2019 during the registration times of 9:00 am - 12:00 pm or 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the student's campus.

  • Winter is Here, Register for Ponder ISD E-Alerts!
     
    Website visitors can subscribe to receive notifications via email.  Subscribing to e-alerts would send subscribers information such as school closings, school delays, or other high priority content.  The District encourages all parents and employees to register on the website and subscribe to e-alerts so they will be among the first to know important information, especially when winter weather threatens.  Read the following document for instructions on how to register and subscribe to Ponder ISD e-alerts:

  • txConnect Allows Parents Access to Student Information

    For those unfamiliar with txConnect, this web site is a portal that allows parents the opportunity to view student grades and attendance via the Internet.  Parents who have already setup a txConnect account in previous years should not have to do anything unless they choose to modify their alert preferences.  Parents who do not already have an account or who need to add children to their existing account must obtain a parent portal letter from their child's school with the student's parent portal ID number.  This is an alpha-numeric code specific to txConnect and is not the child's student ID number.  Click here to access txConnect or for additional information.

  • EZSchoolPay Available To Parents
     
    Once again this school year parents can view purchase and credit details online for their child's cafeteria transactions via a service known as EZSchoolPay.  Through this portal, parents can see the quantity and types of items students are purchasing both at breakfast and lunch as well as view their child's account balance.  Additionally, parents can also choose to have a notification email sent whenever their child's account balance drops below an amount specified by the parent.  Both of these services are free.  As always, if a parent chooses to make deposits online, a service charge fee is incurred.  For more details, view the EZSchoolPay information page.
