  • Fall Festival Cancelled due to COVID-19

The Ponder ISD Fall Festival has been cancelled for this year due to COVID-19 concerns. Unfortunately, the nature of the event does not lend itself to social distancing or any other of the safety protocols being practiced in society today. Ponder ISD is deeply saddened that this long time cultural event in our community must take a year off due to the pandemic; we know how much our school and community enjoy this event each year. Thank you once again for your understanding as we navigate this school year.

  • Ascender Parent Portal is LIVE- Returning & NEW Student Registration is Available

The new Ascender Parent Portal is now live and has replaced txConnect. This solution now allows for online registration which has been a feature often requested by our community. Letters were mailed to parents/guardians on June 3, 2020 which contain instructions on how to begin using this new parent portal. The parent letters were intended to be delivered in May, but due to technical problems the letters were held until the developers were able to release software updates to make the system work properly. We apologize for the delay, but hope that you will find it worthwhile.

To fiind out more details about how to complete the online registration process, visit our online registation information page.

  • EZSchoolPay Available To Parents

Once again this school year parents can view purchase and credit details online for their child's cafeteria transactions via a service known as EZSchoolPay.  Through this portal, parents can see the quantity and types of items students are purchasing both at breakfast and lunch as well as view their child's account balance.  Additionally, parents can also choose to have a notification email sent whenever their child's account balance drops below an amount specified by the parent.  Both of these services are free.  As always, if a parent chooses to make deposits online, a service charge fee is incurred.  For more details, view the EZSchoolPay information page.
