Hello! My name is Mrs. Minter, and I am happy that you are visiting our classroom webpage. I am very excited about this school year and the opportunity to teach your child. My goal is to provide a loving environment where children feel safe to explore, discover and take risks. My greatest joy in teaching comes from helping my students develop a positive self image and a desire to learn new things!I began teaching in 1994 after graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. This is my 23rd year of teaching and my 16th year at Ponder Elementary School. I have experience teaching preschool, kindergarten, first grade and third grade. My family and I live in Ponder, and we feel very blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community!
