Family
My husband and I have been married for 3 years. We have two boys, Fischer, who is in 8th grade and Bryce, who is in 5th grade. 2 year ago we rescued a 7 year old Lab/Pointer mix, Charly! She is a great addition to our family! We also just got two "barn" cats, Nightmare and Alan.
We love the outdoors and having fun together!
Hobbies
Our family is a lot of fun; it is loud and there is a lot of laughter! I enjoy hanging out with my sweet boys and enjoying life! We love to play board games, play basketball, and swim!!! We are really into building things and seeing if they work.
I love reading!!! I read dystopia novels, especially, series. I have read so many books over the last 2 years... I'm sure I single handedly paid someone's Amazon salary!
I am a HUGE football fan and, of course, the Cowboys are my team. They tend to build character in their fans... things like patience, self-control, and learning to love even in the midst of disappointment. :)
Hoping for a good year!
Quotes I love
"Teaching is a job filled with frustrations, trials, and tests of your patience.
Use your passion to soar over obstacles instead of crashing into them and burning out.
Your passion will also help you become absolutely relentless in the pursuit of excellence.
With a focus on professional passion, teaching is no longer about relaying the content standard…it’s about transforming lives.
It’s about killing apathy. It’s about helping the next generation fulfill their potential and become successful human beings.
It’s no longer about memorizing facts; it’s about inspiring greatness."
