Christopher Harold, M.A.

I'm excited to teach in such a family-friendly district as Ponder ISD. This is my 11th year of teaching. I taught as an Adjunct Professor of English at Tarrant County College-Northwest and at Keller ISD as a Dual Credit English Instructor. I am especially delighted to teach high-school freshmen for the first time. I have high aspirations for my incoming freshmen. But I want to emphasize to them that we are all learning to become better human beings through reading, speaking and writing. I hope to bring the rigor of college-level instruction tempered with common sense and down to earth learning. Although we might not see it in the TEKS, I feel a responsibility to teach my young charges about the value of grit and hard work. I also teach literature that reinforces community values and respect for all. I will be available for tutoring most every day---before or after school. Parents, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
