Dobson at Graduation

  • From Mr. Dobson:

    I have been involved in Audio and Video Production since the early '90s (some call it the 1900s).  Whether I was running live sound, producing and editing video, or working with audio archiving and restoration, I seemed to always have some sort of project going.

    I got my Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Texas in 2001, and promptly started working as a video producer for the City of Denton Public Information Office.  In 2005, I took over the position of Media Technical Manager for the Department of Media Arts at UNT.  While working there, I got my Master of Fine Arts Degree, which I completed in 2016.

    At present, I teach Introductory Computer Coding and Principles of A/V Technology at Ponder Junior High.  I hope to inspire the next generation of content producers and coders.  I look forward to working with your children and I hope to ignite and encourage their love of learning.
