Stadium Guidelines

As we prepare for another exciting football season, please review the updated Ponder ISD Stadium Guidelines for the 2025 season. Many of these rules carry forward from previous years; additions and clarifications have been made to enhance safety, supervision, and the game-day experience for everyone.

1. Supervision for PreK–5 Students

  • All PreK–5th Grade students must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

  • There will not be a “Lions Den” area for PreK–5th Grade students to run or play.

  • All students in grades PreK–12 must remain in the stands and enjoy the game, unless they are at the concession stand. Once concession visits conclude, they must promptly return to their seats.

  • PreK–5th Grade students found unsupervised or outside the stands may result in revoked privileges.

2. Prohibited Items & Behavior

To ensure safety and support our community boosters:

  • Absolutely no outside food or beverages allowed. This includes coolers and large insulated cups. (Baby bottles and formula are permitted.)

  • No backpacks are allowed in the stadium.

  • No footballs, or any other types of sports balls or projectiles are allowed.

  • Absolutely no playing tag, or other active play is permitted inside the stadium. Students should remain seated in the stands.

  • Bags, purses, and similar items are subject to search by authorized personnel at any time.

3. Field Access & Conduct

  • No spectators or unapproved individuals are allowed on the field, except for designated participants such as players, coaches, approved staff, officials, flag crew, or individuals with a pass issued by the athletic director.

  • Fans exiting the stadium cannot re-enter. Once you leave, a new ticket is required to return. Fans who join in cheering the Lions during the Lion Walk will receive a throw down dot and a hand stamp, which will allow them to re-enter the stadium before the game begins.

  • Glass bottles, gum, sunflower seeds, tobacco products, and alcohol are prohibited both in the stadium and on the field.

4. Entry, Parking, and Exits

  • Enter only through designated entrances.

  • Parking is strictly in designated areas—please avoid grassy spots or unauthorized zones.

  • Following the game, all spectators must exit the stadium promptly.
