This holiday season, Ponder ISD once again demonstrated the strength, compassion, and unity that define our community. Through the combined efforts of student organizations, athletic teams, campus groups, district staff, and local partners, countless families across Ponder experienced a brighter and more joyful Christmas.
One of the largest collaborative efforts, Operation Jingle Bells, partnered with the Ponder Police Department to provide essential support to families in need. Thanks to generous donations from across the district and community, the program delivered toys, food, and toiletries to 66 families and 212 children. The festive wrapping station, made possible by Ponder PTO, added a special touch and allowed families to prepare gifts with dignity and excitement.
In addition to this effort, the Ponder Elementary Student Council provided 10 full Christmas meals to families, ensuring they could enjoy a warm holiday dinner together. The Ponder ISD Athletics Department also contributed by donating toys for 10–12 families, further extending the reach of support throughout the district.

Ponder ISD extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated funds, toys, food, toiletries, or clothing. Your generosity reflects the true spirit of the season and shows what makes the Town of Ponder such an extraordinary place to live and work. Because of you, many families experienced hope, joy, and community during the holidays.
Together, we continue to make a meaningful difference—one act of kindness at a time.
