Thank You

The past few days have been an incredible reminder of what makes Ponder such a special place to call home.

As our community navigated the recent water service disruption, people and organizations across Ponder and beyond stepped up without hesitation to help our students, staff, families, and neighbors.

First and foremost, Ponder ISD extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly to restore water service to our community. We know countless hours and a tremendous amount of work took place behind the scenes, and we are incredibly grateful for the dedication of everyone involved in getting our community back up and running.

We are also thankful for the many individuals, churches, businesses, organizations, and community partners who donated water, volunteered their time, shared resources, helped distribute supplies, and even opened their facilities to give our student-athletes a place to continue practicing and putting in the work.

A special thank you to Milestone Church, H-E-B, Town of Ponder, Ponder Hardware Store, White Cap, Denton County Cowboy Church, Alexis Norberg, Landmark Church, First Baptist Ponder, Mr. and Mrs. Hooper, Denton Guyer High School, and Pastor Baker with Christian Faith Fellowship, along with the many others who helped in ways both big and small.

There were people asking what was needed, checking on neighbors, delivering water, offering spaces, and simply showing up to help.

For Ponder ISD, that support means more than we can say.

This is community. This is Ponder. And we are incredibly thankful to be part of it.

Thank You
