Ponder44

See a need. Fill a need. Always leave a space better than you found it.

Our Ponder Lions Varsity Football team put those words into action Friday night in Paradise.

Monday morning, Ponder ISD received emails from both Paradise ISD Superintendent Robyn Gibson and Athletic Director Tommy Koch recognizing our football players and coaches for the way they represented Ponder, both during and after Friday night’s game.

Superintendent Gibson shared that the Paradise ISD custodial crew “couldn’t say enough good things” about the team and coaches and was especially impressed by the condition of the visiting locker room after the Lions left.

Paradise Athletic Director Tommy Koch shared similar praise, recognizing our players for taking care of their facilities and for the sportsmanship many of our Lions displayed throughout the game.

This is what Integrity in Character looks like.

It’s seeing a need and filling it. It’s taking care of something that isn’t yours simply because it’s the right thing to do. It’s always leaving a space better than you found it.

We are incredibly proud of our varsity football players and coaches for representing Ponder ISD in a way that speaks far beyond the scoreboard.

Remember Who We Are and What We Represent.

That’s Ponder 44.
