Sometimes Ponder 44 shows up in the simplest interactions.
During the Ponder High School Homecoming Dance, parent volunteer Stacie Schnabel had the opportunity to check students in as they arrived. By the end of the evening, she walked away impressed by the students she encountered.
“All of the students were so polite and respectful,” Schnabel shared. “Every single one of them were pleasant to talk with and used good manners. I was truly impressed by them all!”
This Ponder 44 moment highlights Communication in our LIONS Profile of a Graduate. The way our students speak to others, listen, respond, and carry themselves matters. A simple “yes ma’am,” “thank you,” a smile, or a respectful conversation may seem small, but together, those moments say a lot about who our students are.
We are proud of our Ponder High School students for representing themselves, their families, their school, and Ponder ISD so well.
That’s Ponder 44 in Action.
