Look at that hardware! Both the varsity girls and varsity boys cross country teams are advancing to regionals!
The varsity girls placed second at district, and the varsity boys placed third, earning both teams a spot at the regional meet. Bella Jimenez also earned fifth place at district!
Our JV runners had plenty to celebrate, too, with both the girls and boys JV teams finishing second. From varsity to JV, our Lions’ hard work helped make this a district meet to remember.
Congratulations to every runner for the effort you’ve put in throughout the season. The early mornings, miles and commitment to your teammates deserve to be celebrated!
A big thank-you to Coach Thompson, Coach Vanover and Coach Bowden for the time, encouragement and dedication you give our runners. We appreciate all you do!
We’re proud of all our Lions and can’t wait to cheer on our varsity teams at regionals. Let’s go, Lions! 🦁
