It was an exciting morning at Ponder Elementary! Tanger Outlet Mall was on site awarding a $1000 dollar grant to PES for art supplies! Mrs. Wells, our PE teacher, wrote a grant for art supplies to be used in our art classes! Congratulations, we can't wait to see what they create!

Heads up: Ponder is facing some serious winter weather potential this weekend. Please know, that PISD is on it, keeping in touch with Denton County Emergency Management and neighboring school districts for the latest info.
Please Remember: There will be no school on Monday, January 15th to observe the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday. The weather, however, might impact our ability to open PISD schools safely on Tuesday (1/16). If it does, we will provide notice to you by 5:30 am through email, text, webpage, and social media.
PISD's Top priority: Keeping our students, staff, and community safe. Please watch for further alerts and stay safe! 🦁✨
