During a recent library visit at Ponder Elementary, Brinlee, Adalyn, Maguire, Myles, and Remington showed some serious Lion Pride as they demonstrated Integrity in Character, one of the qualities in Ponder ISD’s LIONS Profile of a Graduate.
While Mrs. Tidquist finished a library planning session, these Lions independently picked out their favorite books, settled in and patiently spent their time reading. No reminders needed — just respectful, self-directed students making great choices and enjoying a good book!
Their actions are a great example of what Integrity in Character can look like in the everyday moments: being respectful, responsible and doing what’s right even when no one is asking you to.
Way to go, Brinlee, Adalyn, Maguire, Myles, and Remington! Our library has some pretty amazing readers. 🦁📚❤️
