Last week, our Ponder Junior High 8th grade football team worked through a tough game to bring home a win! Along the way, Coach Warner gave his players an example of how to handle a challenging situation with respect.
When frustrations ran high, Coach Warner stood up for his players while keeping his composure. He continued encouraging the boys, helping them stay focused and showing them how to keep going when things get tough.
His example gave our Lions a lesson beyond football: you can speak up for what you believe is right while treating others with respect.
