Ponder Elementary Pre-K students Jocelyn North and Diego Caballero are showing that you’re never too young to put the LIONS Profile of a Graduate into action.
Jocelyn and Diego were recognized for O | Outstanding Communicator because of the confidence, kindness, and joy they bring to their interactions each day.
“Every morning, they greet me with a huge smile, a hug, and great eye contact. They are so outgoing and full of personality in all the best ways; you can genuinely see the spark in their little eyes!”
Their enthusiastic morning greetings have become something to look forward to each day. Even as Pre-K students, Jocelyn and Diego are already demonstrating what it looks like to connect with others through eye contact, confidence, kindness, and a whole lot of personality.
These are the moments that make Ponder 44 so special. The skills we want our Lions to carry with them beyond Ponder ISD are already taking shape in our classrooms, hallways, and everyday interactions.
